The LanguageCert International ESOL qualifications are administered centrally 11 times per year in Athens and 4 times per year in major cities all over Greece, as well as in Approved LanguageCert Test Centres, so candidates can schedule their exams with flexibility. Can the learners take the LanguageCert International ESOL Written and Spoken exams separately?
Written and Spoken exams of the same or even of a different level can be taken together or one at a time according to the candidates’ convenience (e.g. Speaking can be taken as a standalone exam if only proof of the speaking ability has to be provided, for example for a job).
Is the Spoken exam taken by candidate pairs?
No, each candidate is examined individually, so they can perform at their best. The interview of the Spoken exam is conducted by an Interlocutor, appointed by LanguageCert, who does not assess. The evaluation takes place at a later stage by a LanguageCert Marker.
Can the learners use a dictionary during the exam?
Candidates are not allowed to use dictionaries or any other aids during the LanguageCert International ESOL exams.
