LanguageCert is proud to announce that it has been granted Awarding Organisation recognition by Ofqual, Ofqual Register Recognition Number RN6001.
Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is a non-ministerial department that regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
As an Awarding Organisation dedicated to language skills assessment and certification, LanguageCert’s utmost objective is to offer high quality qualifications to the global learner community.
Its recognition by Ofqual underpins LanguageCert’s rigorous, high standards and processes deployed in the development, delivery and award of qualifications.
LanguageCert has submitted its International ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) qualifications to Ofqual for regulation, in the sector subject area “Languages, literature and culture of the British Isles”.
A thorough description of the new LanguageCert International ESOL qualifications, applicable after confirmation of their regulation by Ofqual, may be found in the Qualifications Handbooks:
Please note, that until further notice Centres should continue to use the current versions of the Qualifications Handbooks for Listening, Reading Writing and Speaking.
The proposed operational start time for the regulated qualifications is the end of Q3, 2017 and a further announcement will be posted as soon as regulation of the International ESOL qualifications has been confirmed by Ofqual.
Over the coming weeks we will posting further updates, information and guidance in relation to the new regulated qualifications.
Please look out for these important announcements and ensure to cascade this information to all relevant personnel within your organisation.
