Search results are displayed by default on the SearchCenter/Pages/results.aspx page of the portal site. Site administrators can choose either to create a new page on which to display search results or to display the results within an existing portal site page.
- On the home page, on the Site Actions menu, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings.
- On the Site Settings page, under Site Collection Administration, click Search settings.
- On the Search Settings page, in the Search Results URL section, click Present results in the following page, and then type the full URL for the new search results page.
- Click OK.
