After a workflow has been associated with a content type, you can monitor how the workflow is used within a site collection. The Site Collection Workflows page shows the workflows that are currently activated, how many items or content types or both the workflows are associated with, and how many workflows are currently in progress.

1. Open the home page of the site collection in which the workflow resides.
2. On the Site Actions menu, point to Site Settings, and then click Modify All Site Settings.
3. In the Galleries section, click Workflows to view the Site Collection Workflows page.

 Note    You can also monitor the status of workflows in individual documents by resting the mouse pointer on the document name and then clicking the arrow that appears. Click Workflows from the list to view the status of all workflows that are associated with the document.
